Though I bought a so-called 'b' grade it was rated as such because of a minor flaw to the body finish from being dropped at some point. Upon delivery the neck needed adjustment but that is to be expected with any purchase online of a midpriced guitar and once that was done it is a perfectly good guitar. Not a thing wrong with it. Pickups are pretty hot, hotter than I expected and the other hardware is top quality for in the price range, you won't get better that way. I used to play my Stratocaster daily and have only used it twice since getting the PT. What can I say? It's a blast. The neck is a little wider across the board but I'm adjusting to it. Gearorphange gave me a great deal and the delivery was fast. I highly suggest them for any working sales relationship.

Just the sound I wanted, lots of twang & spank. Better than some that I've played in stores, and half the price! Great neck and set up perfect right out of the box! Looks Sharp!

Schecter guitars continue to amaze me with their quality verses price - I have owned 4 Schecters now and each one was a pleasure to play and hear - They have great options and so many finishes it's hard to pick just one (that's why I have 3) - The PT is perfect for the player who likes it "simple" and I love the all black attitude Schecter gave it - All in all you can't get better quality for the dollars.
The maple neck is smooth and fits your hands well. The dual humbuckers sound amazing. It is a slightly heavier guitar, but everything is in the right place. Once you pick one up, you will not want to put it down!
