We immediately started catching beetles. It was easy to assemble and had good directions. The velcro like opening on the bottom was easy to open over a bucket of soapy water, and just dump them out. Rinse the bag with the water hose and velcro it back closed. We have friends and family members who saw our success and have ordered. We have already received our order for next yr! We are ready for those little destructive pests!

Love the beetle trap. But, hate the lure! Ridiculous to hang it on trap and does not attract the beetles like my other lures do. I suggest you use some other type lure. Had to buy another type of lure. I love that you can see the beetles and it is easy to empty. Also economical not having to buy bags.

Have used other type of japanese beetle traps before. This one is the easiest to assemble, most effective, and easiest to dispose of captured beetles.

Easy to dump and reseal, like the bottom opening. I dump my bags every other day and are half full, into a 5 gallon bucket with hot soapy water, so none fly away. I leave in country open fields plenty of bugs. I have ten bags out on my property.

As far for traping the Beatles was affective, but the trap itself doesn't hold because of the bottom zipper would not zip close after unzipped once, therefore a lot of beatles go out the bottom of the trap.
