I ordered this new cover as my old cover had been cracking, flaking and fading due to ultraviolet light damage over three years of usage. I am hoping this one lasts longer, however, this is a thinner material than I was hoping for. The fit is perfect and includes Velcro straps on each side to squeeze the cover around the grille at each side to help prevent the wind from blowing the cover off and stay in place. My other cover did not have this feature and this is a nice add that I like. Overall, I would recommend this cover as the quality seems good and the fit is great. My only concern is how long this will last in the sun, rain, heat and cold before it starts cracking and flaking.

This cover fits fine and is easy to get on and off but is very thin and I worry it will rip easily. When I bought a cover for my first Weber grill 15 yrs. ago it was a very heavy cover and I replaced that one after about 7 yrs. with another Weber cover that was just as heavy. Now Weber makes their covers much thinner but charges more money. I'm curious to see if this new cover will last through the cold snowy winters like my 2 previous ones did. I also removed the attached storage bag. The old Weber covers would never fit in such a small bag. LOL

Durability: my old Weber cover was much sturdier and heavier, and lasted 9 years outdoor. Latest Weber covers are much lighter, we''ll see how long they last. Supposedly, they are covered by a 3-year warranty. Design: the choice of including a storage pouch is questionable, but I can see a reason for those who use the cover only seasonally. The decision to attach such pouch to the cover, instead, is idiotic at best. A pair of scissors is all you need to correct the situation, so no big deal. Fitment: I have a 2009 Spirit E-310 with knobs on the side table, and Weber doesn't make an exact-fit cover for that model anymore. They recommend #7130 as the best option, but from the measures it seemed way to big, and I didn't want to end up with a gigantic cover that would drag on the ground. So I went with #7106: you can tell it's designed for another grill, but it goes on without effort (i.e. it's not forced nor stretched) and it sits at a couple inches from the ground. Read full review

I recently gave away an old grill in which I mistakenly left the cover on it when it was picked up. The old cover was thick, heavy, and weighed a lot. Basically, it would not move from the grill. This Weber cover is light weight, thin, and will soar like a kite if the wind catches it. With that said, it does have contouring side Velcro strips to make it snug fit tight around your Webber grill. It fits great on my new Webber E-Spirit 310 and seems to repell water ok despite being thin (exposed to light rain only). I would have expected a thicker cover from Webber, however if you are looking for a great form fit and Webber logo for your grill, this it.

Only a couple months old and cover is fading badly. Currently top is light grey and still fading. Not the quality one would expect from Webber. Definitely not UV Resistant.
