This book is VERY informative of the types of fats and it identifys which ones are healthy and which are dangerous and why this is true. It also explores other substances that enhance cholesterol. If you have a cholesterol problem, like I do, you will find this book great reading. It might be a bit difficult if you never took a chemistry class but it isn't totally necessary. The author is a good writer and makes it easier to understand with his style. I write this after reading 50 pages, I am motivated to read the whole book. I would highly recommend this book for anyone interested in understanding healthy eating and pursuing a healthy life style. I only wish I would have found it years ago.

This book is ESSENTIAL for good health and knowledge. Absolutely outstanding. The author goes into nutrition and how modern fat and oil production turns all non extra virgin oils that are not truly "cold pressed"/expeller pressed into POISON. He gets into carbs (bad/good), sugars, proteins, and safe/unsafe cooking methods. Simply the best!!!!!!!!!!
