It's childish, and one could say somewhat disrespectful. I cannot envision God the way the author does. But about the time I decide to set this book down and go away. she comes up with something rather interesting and insightful. But the author seems squeamish about mentioning Jesus. Lots of :"I died on the cross" talk coming from God, who I realize is part of a Trinity, but why not say "I sent my Son to die," for instance? In that way, the book can be jarring at times. But If you can stomach a fantasy about God "munching popcorn" while curled up on a couch petting a cat, you might find some original thoughts here. Nothing exactly deep, but not a complete of waste of time.
