This 24-track CD of previously unreleased material is an interesting mélange of West Coast garage and folk rock. Twenty-four tracks, yes, but "Not Too Old to Start Cryin'" and "Is Our Love Gone" have a first and second version. BTW, The Mojo Men included drummer and outstanding female vocalist, Jan Errico. Favs are "Happiness Is You," "Look into My Eyes," "Times Likes These," "Give Me One More Chance," and "Don't Leave Me Crying Like Before." The lone song that didn't hit the mark for me was "She Cried," a cover of Jay and The Americans' 1962 hit. The band's cover of "Oh Lonesome Me" by Don Gibson and Chet Atkins, however, is pretty cool. "There Goes My Mind" is goofy. All in all, if you're into folk rock, you'll find this CD pleasant enough. Text and fifteen-page booklet.
