This is an excellent resource and can effectively replace the Friedberg book. It is written in Bowers' easily readable style and makes the technical aspects of paper money collecting very accessible. My only complaint is that the book is very heavy. It is difficult for me to read even when in my recliner much less in bed. It is great, however, if I'm working at a table and making notes on my laptop. I would hightly recommend this work to anyone that has any interest in paper money. The new collector or the connisseur will find something of interest.
This book is a fine quality production, both in terms of its content, printing and binding quality overall. A fantastic book, I own over 1,000 books and this book is in the Top 20 for sure.
