Nothing is more disheartening for a parent than to purchase a relatively expensive toy or game for their child, only to find them lose interest it and find your well intentioned gift, weeks later collecting dust in a corner or a drawer or worse, under a bed forgotten forever. It was with much trepidation then that for my daughter's 11th birthday; we purchased a "Nintendo DS" from a local retailer. Within a few weeks, however, she became boarded with the only software title we picked-up at the time of purchase. I searched for "Nintendo-DS" on E-Bay and literally hundred's of options came rushing onto my screed. I decided on "Finding Nemo: Escape to the Big Blue", since we all enjoyed the movie and I felt she would easily become familiar with the object of the game. I was right, she uses the Nintendo on long trips, sleepovers at her friends and anytime the computer is in use and it's not her turn. The price was right and the options seemed unlimited. Good Game, easy to learn and I believe the software is age appropriate up to 14 years of age. Warmest regards, Cliffyhoffman99Read full review
I purchased this game for my five year old because he is a huge fan of Finding Nemo. He was very excited when I gave the game to him and then less than 10 minutes later I noticed that he was playing another game on his DSI. Later that evening I thought that I would try the game and see what it was like since I enjoyed the movie also. THIS GAME IS HORRIBLE! STAY AWAY! Yes, I realize that its for younger gamers but trust me save your money! Its nothing like the movie and basically all you do is bounce a bubble around collecting coins and trying to get to the sea (which takes less than 2 minutes). Once you have accomplished this with one character you'll get to do it over again with another character. The mini games are horrible as well. The graphics??? Yep! HORRIBLE! I thought that I was warped back to the mid 1980's while playing it (No Joke). Seriously save your money because this game is horrible and truly an insult to anyone who has purchased it. If I had the choice between playing this game or beating my head against the wall? I'd just have to bang my head! NOT EVEN A 3 YEAR OLD COULD ENJOY THIS GAME. ITS HORRIBLE! SAVE YOUR MONEY! AVOID! AVOID!Read full review
awesome-----kids were kept busy by a clean video game-------parents and children are very content------son loves nemo and easier to carry game rather than sitting like a zombie in front of the tv....both kids need to think and use hand and eye coordination
I really enjoy this game. I actually bought it for my kids but love it myself. I had a hard time buying it at a store. This was so much easier and cheaper.
I bought this for my grandchildren. I like any product that is about Disney and these seem to be more age appropriate and not violent games.
