This is an excellent quality DVD. I use it when teaching about Roman Technology in my Global History class. The students seem to achieve a better understanding of what Rome accomplished when they can "see" the results. The use of computer animation to showcase the Roman level of technology is outstanding. If you teach Global History I highly recommend this DVD. It is difficult to find material such as this that is not either very low level (k-4) or extremely high level (college-post college). This series fits nicely in the middle. The students can understand the concepts and relate to what they have been previously taught in class. I bought this DVD based on Egypt: Engineering an Empire. Both part of the same series. I highly recommend both.
This is a well done DVD, and series put out by the History channel, that explains all the Roman leaders and power house names of the times. I would highly recommend. My sister uses it in her 6th grade classroom and the kids love it.
Rome used the Greeks work as a road map, but their contributions are outstanding as documented in this DVD. The visual image and evidence of how the Roman aqueducts were constructed make this DVD outstanding
