Warman's is my number 1B resource guide for estimating values of lunchboxes. My number 1A guide is "The Lunchbox Kid". Both Warman's and Lunchbox Kid values are based on a score of 9 on a 1-10 basis so if your box/kit isn't in that condition you have to discount (in some cases substantially) the estimated value as values increase exponentially for grades 9 and 10 versus, for instance, 7 and 8. I recommend buying both and averaging the two values to get a more accurate number. LBK is more expensive but more detailed. They include foreign boxes and plastic boxes too. Sometimes both books are very far apart in their assessment. Each book is the latest version of lunchbox values as none have been written since at least 2010.

I personally like these great little field guides. You can find them and they are very inexpensive to get. This guide is great, it offers you a short brief history of lunch boxes, and the lunch box market. It gives you an idea where to find them, what to look for, and great pics along with information on some of the rarest lunch boxes. Highly recommended pocket guide.
Information very valuable to buying and selling Lunch boxes and thermos. Blown away with detailed info.
