I bought this cd because I knew one song, "Love Me Dead". Soon I fell in love with this cd, it is AMAZING! Some songs are mellow like "Topeka" and "Streetlights" and some are loud like "Love Me Dead" and "Lake Pontchartrain". some are creepy in their own way like "Go-Getter Greg" and "The Horror of Our Love". This cd is not just ONE sound with ONE feeling. It's fun, playful, soft, calming and some what creepy. Andrews Vocals are enthusiastic and calming. Tim Ferrell's guitar solo in "Love Me Dead" well make you wish you knew how to play [[or at least it did for me]]. Tim Convy's moog and synth give this group an even more uniqu sound. Marshall Fanciullo on bass is perfect on "such as it ends" and "Mutiny Below". Matt Palermo's drums in "Drunken Lament" are my favorite. This cd is like life; it's got its ups and its downs. It's one roller coaster you cant wait to get on[[assuming you like roller coasters]]. i wish i could high five them. -avidork :DRead full review
I was surprised to find a new, in the original packaging, version of this CD. Came in timely and in good shape.

I must admit, the first time that I saw Ludo back in 2002, I thought they were nothing but immature little kids, times change! It is now 2008 and they have come so far, they are the 5 nicest guys I have ever met with each individual quality about themselves, Andrew is the crazy clever one, Matt is the little kid at heart with drum talent like no other, Ferrel is clever and entertaining with his knowledge, Marshall is the shy but witty one and Convy is the nicest guy you can ever know. As far as this album, from Love Me Dead (Goodbye Bear) to In Space (Boat Song), the album keeps you interested and excited, from happy to sad to dancing. All I can say is that this album is BOMBTASTIC! BUY IT!!
Excellent music with exceptional lyric, Ludo you did it again, your power pop has not powered me down

I likes. Why b/c The band has a nice sound and a brilliant Guitarist along with a drummer who's skill reminds me of Dave Grohl when he was drumming in Nirvana. For my taste of music ranges from Country all the way to Hardcore Punk rock, This sound has a bit of comedic lyrics like Weird Al but not as funny but it works. So if there is any more questions about the Album "You're Awful, I love you" by Ludo, Well then: I'm just a poor boy, lost his friends in the rain. Any more questions, just go and ask Lake Pontchartrain.
