Nice tool, cuts clean lines. The lines are a bit wide, depending on scale you're working on, probably better for 1/32 aircraft and above as the panel lines produced in 1/48 are a bit large, but it stays sharp and cuts well. However, if you scribe a shallow line, it's not too wide and could probably work for 1/48. As a parting/cutting tool, it's great, leaves a very clean edge.

I've tried several scribers for aircaft modeling, and this wasnt one i used for long, in my opinion its too big and bulky, hard to see exactly where the scribing blade is going and hard to control compared to many other, IMO the "UMM" uniqe model master scribers do the best job, and will work for 1/72-1/32 scale

I only used it a few times so far but really like it! I cut a hood out with it very quickly and without gouging the surrounding area, still need to be carefully on curves and use light pressure to start, but way better than the back side of an xacto blade
