I love Kiss; their music and their whole look and style. I've been a fan since the 70's. I was excited to buy this package on eBay for the reasonable price of $20 instead of $30 in the store. Anyway, I was expecting the 'love gun magnet' to be included as it stated on the original sticker on the outside of shrinkwrap. It turns out that my copy had an additional sticker on top of that sticker that does not include the wording of the included magnet! No magnet in the packaging. The newly released photos are cool to have. Some of the photos I've seen before. Nice packaging for sure, although it was missing the "Deluxe Edition" slip case in this version without the magnet. The track featuring Paul teaching Love Gun is cool in context as well. I was really hoping for the legendary Van Halen brothers tracks that Gene preaches about to be in here - he jammed with them when writing 'Got Love For Sale' etc... Well, those demos are sorely missing from this collection. Why even make a "Love Gun" collection without the Van Halen brothers tracks? That's what we Kiss fans really wanted to hear! Pay them for the rights to use the tracks and get the demos released. Isn't that the Holy Grail of Kiss/Van Halen mythology? I felt very sad that I, once again, got sucked into buying another Kiss collection just to be disappointed. It was 'the icing on the cake' for me that shows that today's Kiss is not concerned about about the fans.Read full review
Love Gun is one of the all-time great KISS albums, and one of the best of those performed by the original members. What then could make it even greater? The answer: A bonus disc of rarities and a booklet of unseen before photos. This is worth the price of admission for the closing track "Shock Me" alone, which features an incendiary Ace Frehley guitar solo. Not sure why they sat on this for all these years. I can only imagine what the reaction would've been had this come out in metal's heyday in the 80s. Highest recommendation if you are a KISS fan!

This album from the Kiss Fab Four from ‘77 was one of the first stretch out lp’s featuring piano and slower tempo’s. Alas, this is one of their best! The added bonus demos and rarities only make this a better package. Inlay is great and remastering is top. Go and get it peeps!

Great Deluxe Edition of this must have Kiss 70's Album. The second disc is loaded with cool previously unreleased tracks and the U.S. Version comes with an awesome Gun Magnet that looks like the original gun that came in the 1977 LP. I wish Kiss would release deluxe editions of all their 70's studio albums.

Most of the extras are pretty good. I wasn't too crazy about the tutorial on Love Gun but its definitely a look back on how songs were written during the 70s.
