If you run a Lot or run long distances, the battery life in this model might be a drawback. You might need to charge it every day or two. For shorter runs maybe 2-3 times a week or so, it wouldn't be a big problem. Watch is easy to learn & use and when not in GPS, battery life for me exceeds one week.

Love this model. It is smaller, light weight and very accurate. I have been using the Garmin Forerunner for several years, mainly to track my distance, speed and time. I don't need anything else. Although the Forerunner 10 does offer. more features.

really good watch. If you don't have experience running, this is a good watch to start. Not the best one, but it can do the work.

Battery barely last an hour of exercise.... GPS must take enormous amount of power.... Must charge watch after each use.
