Way too much of Peppermint Patty in these two cartoon specials for me. I find her to be a loud, annoying and painfully unfunny character at most times. It's very clear that she's one of the late great Charles M. Schulz's favorite characters, that's why she's featured so heavily in these two Peanuts' T.V. specials. ..(Double Groan).. But MY favorite Peanuts characters (Violet, Patty, Frieda, Pig Pen, Shermy, Schroeder and Five) are not even really used here or even seen much at all here.

THis is a 'feel good' movie. It has 2 25 minutes stories that teach kids good sportsmanship. It is not filled with high action, and alot of noise, that makes kids all hyper. My grandsons (ages 3 & 5) liked it and could understand it. They knew all the characters names, especially Charlie Brown(Chuck), and could relate to all of them. It was very affordable (1.00 + shipping), and I know the kids will watch it over and over. I still like watching charlie brown and I'm a grandma now. The only thing I did not like was that it had extra advertising of other movies, but most dvd's have that.
This was a great purchase! I have loved this movie since I was a child. The dvd works perfectly and the cost was minimal. The shipping was super fast and I totally enjoyed watching this movie several times since my purchase.

I grew up watching these Charlie Brown movies, But I have never seen this one? So it was very entertaining.plus I see that there are quite a few more. I love all of the Charlie Brown DVDs...they are cute, age appropriate for any age...& they pack a lot of positive information both educational, & morally speaking into each video. It is full of common sense stuff but we all had to learn it at some point (great resource for teaching small children)...& a great refresher for adults!! :)
