I found the racket too heavy. Also it said it was graphite but on the cover it said it was wood ply so I'm not exactly sure what it is made of. I did read on line that the heavier the racket the more control over the ball however I felt it too heavy for me. I sold it to a male friend and he seems to like it.

The picture showing for this product are two GRAPHIC paddle but description is for TWO ALUMUM paddles which I bought and could not get replaced with what picture shown. A very misleading grossly misrepresentation. Two Aluminum paddles could be bought with less money!!!!

Some listings have it as between 5 and 7 ounces. Some say the misleading .37 pounds. Don't believe it. This one actually weighs in at 10.25 ounces, the same as my old, heavy, beginners $3 wooden paddle. The handle feels good and the balance is even but the weight is a total falsehood.

This is an attractive paddle, good for serving, has good edge protection. It is heavier, and the surface is painted rather than coated with composite, graphite, vinyl, etc. It is a flawed design, with the aluminum sheets not extending to the handle and therefore wobbling with time, eventually falling off. A better design would be to use a heavier grade of aluminum extending down tot he base of the handle. This one has obsolescence built into it...Aluminum is good, weather resistant product, and light as well. Edgeless is better for indoor play, on a wooden/parquet floor.
