This film is a great example of shirley Temple's lovely entertaining and heartfelt films from the 1930's. A very good story although somewhat predictable of course still a absolute must see/own for any fan of the great child actor who grew into a great important woman. but for this movie just sit back and enjoy. only this that i could have done without was lead actor's singing voice but then again it wasn't that bad and he was probably forced to sing it being the shirley temple movies always included music/dancing - GREAT FILM OVERALL
