When I first thought to read this book, I was expecting it to be good but sad (like Tuesdays with Morrie). However, I found this book to be HILARIOUS. Fox's sense of humor is amazing. The book was also just as touching as I expected--but I constantly found myself laughing. I think that this book, like Tuesdays with Morrie, really illustrates what matters most in life, tells about a personal metamorphosis, and gives readers really good messages to take away. I would give this book an A+++++. It's one of the best books I've ever read.
I bought this book because I love Michael J. Fox and was interested in his life and his struggle with Parkinsons's disease and how he has dealt with it all. The book is excellent and very informative and I felt as if I lived his life along with him. The only thing I wish it had in it were more pictures of him and his family. There were no pictures of his brother or sisters and it would have been nice to see them. Otherwise it was a book worth buying. I would recommend it to anyone who loves MJF or anyone suffering with Parkinson's. Very well written. Terri S.
An excellent first hand account of Michael J Fox's childhood, early acting career, struggle with Parkinson's, and family life. An inspirational and uplifting read!

I have always keep up on any information on Micheal J. Fox since his illness. I beleive he is a very good roll model for anyone who has taken ill. I felt it was great how the books profits went to the Foundation for Parkinson's Research. The book went into great details of his life and career moves. I love how the book discussed how much family and love can get you through anything. Especially the will to fight and live!
