I have read every book in this series thus far, so naturally, I decided to read this book as well. It's always checked out at the library so I purchased it on eBay. I loved it!! I am a big fan of Damon and Elena - even though I understand that Stefan is her true love - and this book is almost entirely focused on the interaction between them and their changing relationship. I won't ruin it for anyone that hasn't had the pleasure of reading it, but it is soooo good. I definitely recommend it.
My friend and I have been hooked on the new television series The Vampire Diaries, and she was always saying how she wanted to read the books. So I searched and searched for the entire series in one buy. And here I found it! All books were in perfect condition and have the original cover on them (not the re-done cover with the actors from the show on it) so I was very pleased with these books.

I bought this book to continue my collection of JL Smith books, again another great book!! The ending has a suprise, not what I was expecting, but it makes me look forward to the last of the triologys! I cannot wait till Dec when the last one comes out.
I loved how LJ Smith recaps previous books to take us on yet another adventure, except this time into a dark world where the reader gets a chance to truly see the main characters for what they really are. I loved the detail and the fantasy elements! I just hate that I have to wait for another book to continue this epic adventure.
