Fabulous early American figural sewing tool in the form of a bird skein holder *for the lap*. In amazing condition(appears unused) for such an early piece which I believe,according to the patent dates to the mid to late 1860\'s. Measures overall for the box 1 3/4\" by 7/8\" by 7/16\"-an incredible find!
