I have a fantastic old antique early G.H.S (GORDIAN HETTICH & SOHNE) 50 HOUR SPRING DRIVEN MANTLE CUCKOO ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!! a delicate and petite thing. amazing. ... THIS CLOCK IS A REAL BEAUTY! .. its in great condition overall... BEAUTIFUL DEEP RICH RED WOOD TONES! And a RARE configuration! EXTREMELY WELL CARVED AND VERY ORNATE. MATCHING VERY UNUSUAL CARVED HANDS. AND ORIGINAL AMAZING BONE NUMERALS OVER THE 5" DIAL in good condition. it measures 17" tall and 13"

clocks for years and never seen another like this with THIS STYLE OF CARVING. VERY UNUSUAL. A BEAUTIFUL CREST OF VINES AND GRAPES top the clock and the sides are flanked by two more sweeps of vines and surrounded by maple leaves and vines over a beautiful geometric victorian case, very tasteful. . has a small age split in the CENTER OF THE FACE over the dial. never been addressed or repaired. we think it adds to its character and left it alone. , it is very hard to see. normal for a clock this age. (see photos) other than that its EXCELLENT for condition. . the big old 100% ORIGINAL wooden bird with moving wings and beak and HAND CARVED and hand painted, Paint is in good condition and has a nice aged patina. . ROBUST early PINNED BRASS plate movement has been tested for time accuracy and running order... freshly cleaned and oiled for many years of running.... this
clock runs and operates FLAWLESSLY! .. .. original adjustable pendulum ON ITS ORIGINAL HANGAR . flute pipes are 100% original to the clock and THEIR TOPS HAVE BEEN PROFESSIONALLY RECOVERED WITH PERIOD CORRECT GOAT SKIN LEATHER! this will ensure aesthetic value and many years of running... re-worked like many... . it was left alone and preserved in its

I have recently had an inquiries about warranty so I'm adding this
statement to make it entirely clear. This clock is 140+ years old. I
make absolutely no warranty as to its ability and or duration other then this: it runs well right now, and looks to be in good shape and in my educated opinion its good to go..
. I will also be making dated videos of all the clocks before they
ship, from now on, to ensure that they can be shown in any given
situation, without a doubt, that it was in good running order as stated when I shipped it:Beyond that I offer absolutely no warranty!!! no returns, and no guarantee.
this is a historically significant antique clock, It is also a
functioning piece of artwork. if you are looking for a daily runner, with a warranty,
perhaps Walmart might fill your needs a little better. I would never
procure a clock like this and run it every day. This (TO ME) is
tantamount to finding and buying an all original Model-T Ford antique
truck, in beautiful ALL ORIGINAL condition, and then using it to Hall
mulch, stone, do landscaping and
hauling, firewood, gather groceries, haul the kids, and commute to work in it
