rare 1830s ? English Bandsman Lion Head antique Sword:

This is an original old antique sword from the 1830s. It is an English Bandsman sword with a solid heavy brass lion head handle. Overall length is 25.5\". The blade is 21\" with a 20 inch cutting edge. Sword blade is double edged. Blade is nice and straight. Does have some oxidation but i left it the way i found it and im sure can be cleaned up easily. It came without a scabbard. I can not find too much info about these but i found an identical sword dated 1832 from my research. I am not expert in European swords so please ask questions if you have them :) There are no markings on the sword.
