A lovely Chinese teacaddy on spreading foot with openwork floral scroll decoration. The globular body painted with 2 large and 6 small cartouches. The large cartouches with Chinese interiour scenery but with Chinese and European Figures! Rare!

The other cartouces in between and on the lid painted with grisaille technique and gilt depicting literati style landscape scenery and floral motifs.
