This is the rare Buck Rogers Rocket ship from the early 1930s. I listed this as with BOX PANELS. It is peices of what used to be a box. It is only side panels and none of the sides are fully intact, a couple are close. I pieced these together and held them in place around a cardboard frame, for the photos.The box is a basket case withmany tears and many pieces.But these original boxes are about as hard to find as you can get, so what is here is definitely of value. An experienced toy hobbyist could probably come up with a better long term solution for the box than my crude example. The spaceship itself is working, but I think it could use some oil. Works fine when suspended but labors on a low wind when operating on the floor. I did not attempt to remedy the situation, but the motor mecahnismseems to be in good shape. Still has the "pop" sound. I do not see sparks coming out the back so the flint may be in need. The back tire is intact but mis-shapen. Pulling wheels are in good played with condition. I do not see a ding on any part of this. It is very nice structurally as you can see in the pics. Some fading of the graphics. on top of nose mostly,but not as scratched as many examples I have seen.This is a very desireable collectors item, it is not perfect mint condition but it is priced accordingly.
