rare c.1900 Val St. Lambert cobalt blue to Vaseline Wavre crystal vase:

A fine and rare shaft and bun base crystal vase, the cobalt blue to Vaseline body cut with a hobstar band, stretched ovals, and fluting, the base is embellished with a twenty four point rayed star. Condition: stand wear to the under-base; light surface age and use wear; nothing further found; reacts strongly to UV/Blacklight. Circa 1900, unmarked but definitely Val St. Lambert, pattern design \"Wavre\". Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height 30cm/12in, rim diameter 9cm/3.5in, base diameter 11cm/4.5in.
