jug is 14 3/8" high, 8 1/2" across, weigh 8 lbs, 10.5 oz (av). The 2 pieces at the top (right above the rings) are wired together at the very top. It is almost impossible to see the crack in the glaze at certain parts of the circular crack around the jug, leading one to believe it was damaged and repaired before the slip was applied.The inside is glazed .will go by UPS
