Consider offerding on this exquisite collector, porcelain decanter from Robj, Paris France..This collector decanter is the White Russian Cossack with gold trim Vodka Decanter, has the brown beard and mustache, red nose and rosy cheeks...Approximate measurements are:10.5 inches tall, with a 3 inches by 3.25 inches base...
Base markings consists of a signed bottom in cursive: Robj, Paris, Made in France
Light signs of previous use and ownership should be considered consistent with age...This is clean and empty, free of chips, cracks, crackling, restoration, some gold wear on the busby stopper and rim...Also slight breakage on the cork..

Robj (pseudonym for Jean Born) created his design company in 1908 which was was active in Paris in the late 1920s and early 1930s. Jean BornAt the time, is interested in electrical igniters and registers the models in 1910. Two years after the first world war he adds all artistic trinkets in porcelain...unfortunately Jean Borndied in a car accident in 1922 and the company continued under the direction of his partner, Lucien Willmetz...ashareholder in the firm, who takes over the management. He is the one who will really influence and emphasize ROBJ's style. Supported by sculptors, modellers and fire-technicians he initiates a competition of "art trinkets in ceramics", a genuine nursery of talents until 1931..In 1928 come the greatest hits of the firm: liqueur-decanters..Robj actively encouraged Art Deco and Cubist designers and artists, and provided a showcase for their works. Robj sponsored an annual competition between 1927 and 1931 as a means of finding new designers....Robj was not a manufacturer, rather a design house where pieces were made under commission by various manufacturers and retailers, such as Villeroy and Boch. However Robj can be considered important in the promotion of Art Deco in ceramics during the period that it came of age.

Plus I do not pre pack due to combined ship specials, last minute questions and picture requests, So please be patient if requesting an updated invoice..When the price of stamp went up, so did the rest of shipping prices so leaving low response scores only effects my selling rating with ..
Comes from a smoke-free home, but we do have pets in our household, so there might be some fly away pet hair, so I am apologizing in advance...

I do share the computer with other family members, plus either work part time or babysit twin grandsons, but will get back to you as soon as I have a chance..
