Japanese Lacquered Jewellery Chest

One of the nicest lacquered jewellery boxes I have found

There is storage galore

Condition is outstanding

Gorgeous mother-of-pearl inlay

Highly detailed hand painted scenery in bold vibrant colours

Very minimal signs of use

The blue velvet lining is gorgeous and even the mirror has a nice delicate bevilled edge

So much storage, there are two top compartments, slide out drawer, double door
long storage and full length storage under the compartments

As you are pulling out the lower storage compartment, the front of the box
collapses so it can be extended. Very cool and rare design

Plays the main theme tune from ‘The Swan Lake’

Fantastic size, this is on the large size and when closed measures: 21.5cm (w) x 12cm (h) x 15cm (d)

And when opened, it measures: an impressive: 37cm (w) x 23cm (h) x 36cm (d)
