For your consideration is a vintage rare Lesco Lona tapestry purse.This great looking purse was made in Italy. Most Lesco Lona purses are wicker. I have not been able to find one made of tapestry like this one.

The floral tapestry pattern is on a nice deep red chenille background. It has two small brass colored metal handles. It measures approximately 10.75” high x 9.5” wide at the base. The handles measure approximately 2.25” from the top of the purse. There is a small zippered pocket on the inside and the “Made in Italy expressly for Lesco Lona” tag is sewn on the pocket. The lining on the inside looks to be some type of linen I think. Not sure if it was always this color but it is a light beige in color. There are a couple of very tiny stains that I’m sure can be cleaned out. The lining is actually darker in color than what is seen in the pictures. The tapestry is bright in wonderful condition.
