The Iridescence on this plate is stunning ! - primarily due to the black amethyst base color - light (photos 4 &5) can hardly penetrate. All of my glass I acquired as a collector - thus seeking the best or upgrading as available. Of over 400 Carnival pieces this piece has to be one ofmy overall top ten! I\'ve certainly had pricier but in terms of glassmaker quality, not many better.This is top end carnival!Especially for Fenton!!
