.

i just got this wonderful old compote / stand at my last estate sale ...... the metal seems to be bronze ..... perhaps brass .....

everything is on mint condition .... no chips or cracks.... no stains or even scratches to the bowl or the flower round tile on the bottom ...... .... this has always been for show only .....

the tile and bowl are both signed ..... not the metal ......

the lovers center is in fine condition ..... it as well as the gold decorations inside are transfer ..... but the painting is signed .......fragonard

the bowl is about 9 1/4 inches across ..... again , i is perfect ..... it has once been affixed to the metal rim ...... it can be again , or not ..... lol

i have not cleaned the compote ....... not done anything to the rich color of the exposed metal ......

i got a nice deal on this one ....... so anyone can have a look ....... fine european art ..... and there is

as far as shipping goes , that is just what we will charge you to ship the item ..... no hidden extras , no packing or materials fee ......... usually the post office and sometimes ups ........since we send our things world-wide , it simply depends on where you live ...... items going overseas naturally cost more to ship than those that stay in the states ..... a toy or a tool .... something for the bathroom , or a children's book , whatever ..... we are always willing to send it slower and save you money ...... always glad to combine purchases as well ......

as we have always said , should you not be happy with any of our sales , and for any reason , you may return the item for a refund.

we will also no longer charge for insurance ...... but all items will STILL BE insured by us , as we will pay for it on our end ....... have no fear ..... and again , all packing materials , wrapping tissue , paper , bubble wrap and boxes are free ....... we re-cycle almost everything anyway and my brother Jon gets about 98% or 99% of his packages delivered to the customer in perfect condition ......... " having said that , UPS once broke our cast iron kitchen skillet " ....... so you never know ..... heh heh
