A vintage late 1970’s Folger’s tin / metal coffee can with embossed Folger’s coffee lid. This vintage can is not dated, although it does have a code. However, in researching the various different designs on Folger’s cans, I believe this tin should date to the late 1970’s.

It is a one pound tin for Regular Grind coffee. The markings on the side show Folger’s as a subsidiary of Procter and Gamble and give the P&G tiny logo of the moon with stars and a code number of 84.114.3. I do not believe this code reflects the date. I believe it is a late 1970\'s can, but I assume true collectors will know for certain. This was vacuum packed in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Size: approx height is 5 5/8ths inches; approx diameter of base is 4 inches. It is a 16 ounce, or 1 pound can.

Condition: nice vintage with a few flaws – One side is still very bright in color, while the other side, although still very nice with all text legible, shows fading to the color. I assume one side must have been facing the sunshine for many decades. A few small tarnish, or darkened marks, on the can. Interior very clean with just a tiny bit of tarnish. Some tarnish on the base of the tin, but no rust. It has an original plastic embossed Folger’s coffee lid in very nice condition, also.
