Vtg Folk Art Americana Sequin Deco Bird Trophy Bead Rooster Dress Jacket Coat For Sale
Ok - if you’ve followed us for long enough you know there’s no such thing as a sequin jacket that I don’t love. But I must admit, we have never had one like THIS before! Spectacular 1980s fully encrusted (and I mean fully, sequins tightly piled on sequins) jacket. Incredible Americana, folk art theme. Truly very, very high quality. The front of the coat features a simple beaded + jeweled neckline + long zipper. One sleeve has a massive beaded bow while the other features, wait for it.... GEORGE WASHINGTON. George is done remarkable well with an embroidered face + fully beaded/sequined body + hat. Cherry blossoms float around him + the rest of that arm as well. On the back, as luck would have it, we have a MASSIVE jeweled, beaded + sequined ROOSTER. Incredible color palette with jeweled florals + tons of fun color. We can’t get over the individual lines in the feathers + how perfectly his feet + beak are beaded! Truly a remarkable find!
