Original 1940s-50s era Swedish military dispatch rider motorcycle tanker leather jacket. Black thick goatskin leather fully lined in gray wool flannel material. Asymmetrical front flap closure with two sets of buttons (one hidden under the flap), wooden toggles fasteners at the right shoulder and metal clasp fasteners at bottom. Racer-style neck strap with adjustable clasp. Front button-down map pocket. Adjustable side laces. Recessed knit ribbed cuffs. Wide cut through the chest and sleeves as jacket was made to fit over a uniform. Öje Skinnbeklädnad label, marked size 52. Leather shows age patina, surface cracking and edge wear but is still sturdy and pliant. Inner knit sleeve cuffs are damaged. Front pocket has some popped stitching along the bottom. Wool flannel lining is in overall good shape showing some light soiling. Appears to best fit US large.
