Ww2 Paratrooper 82nd Airborne 508th Pants Trousers Drab Olive Green 32w 29l For Sale
These pants belonged to veteran of ww2. Nobody in the family wants his service related items. I will be listing them over the next few weeks. I actually saw a photo of him wearing these type pants. Could have been this pair I am not sure if he had more than one. He was in Europe and part of the 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment. He was a Captain and received Bronze Star for meritorious service around Sept 17 1944 in Belgium. I believe he was part of operation Market Garden. One tie is missing on leg and at bottom of pants two buttons are cracked in halve. I see no tears or holes. Looks very good condition. I did not wash or clean in any way. I beleive these are Rigger modified paratrooper pants. The size tag cant be read (see photo) faded so I meaured with tape measure.

Captain Herman Frick did jump in Operation Market Garden. He was also injured in that operation.

Captain Herman Frick did jump in operation market garden I have confirmed. He was not in battle of the bulge because of an injury. He was behind the lines at that time getting treatment. This is the story I have from family member and neighbor that actually lived in the town he parachuted during market garden in Netherlands. They came to live in this country and ended up living next to Mr. Frick. Small world
