Ww2 Paratrooper 82nd Airborne Sterling Silver Wings & Oval Backing 508th For Sale
These wings belonged to Captain in the 508th Airborne unit. He was veteran of ww2. Nobody in the family wants his service related items. I will be listing them over the next few weeks. He was in Europe and part of the 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment. He was a Captain and received Bronze Star for meritorious service around Sept 17 1944 in Belgium. Captain Herman Frick did jump in operation market garden I have confirmed. He was not in battle of the bulge because of an injury. He was behind the lines at that time getting treatment. This is the story I have from family member and neighbor that actually lived in the town he parachuted during market garden in Netherlands. They came to live in this country and ended up living next to Mr. Frick. Small world
