French*Antique*Manoir is acharming antique french brocante and antiques from 18th century until the Art Déco period which come essentially from the Loire Valley, known for its history, wine, family property, manoir and castles.

Absolutely stunning, this antique French First class reliquary dates from the 19th century. This exceptional reliquary is ebonised wood frame, composed inside with a gold and silver threads crucifix that rests on a beautiful burgundy velvet fabric background in perfect condition. The magnificient crucifix encloses the relics of six Saints that are important in the catholicism. The two Saints in the top are \"Saint Symphorien M\" in the right and \"Saint Lazare M\" in the left, the initials M is for Martyr. The two Saints of the center of the crucifix are \"Saint-Jean Baptiste\" and \"Saint Paul AP\", the initials AP is for apostle. Just above, the two Saints are \"Saint Térèse V\" in the right and \"Saint Marguerite VM\", here the inials V is for Virgin and VM is for Virgin Martyr. They all rest on shimmering gilt paper flower shape and embellished with a white pearl strapping and each relics bears the name of the Saint in ribbon paper. Just below the crucifix, a fabulous bouquet of scrolled and curled leaves and flowers in gold and silver threads that catches beautifully the light and come to magnify this religious relics art work. This must have been done by accomplished hands as this is so fine and delicate. The back has never been opened, it still contains its original four wax seal that guarante the authenticity of the relics, it is absolutely as it was 150 years ago. You can see a crucifix in the middle of the wax seal. It is all in place, sturdy and protected under a convex dome glass in perfect condition. It measures 36cm/ 14.17\"height, 30cm/ 11.81\" large and 7cm/2.95\" depth. This is a superbly unique religious reliquary with a spectacular details that i found in Lyon city.
