Irish 18th Century Silver Naval Dirk:
Late 18th century Naval Dirk with silver fitting and makers mark for Matthew Walsh Dublin c 1790. The decorative turned bone grip with silver anchors within oval surrounds and complete with silver tang button. The cross guard has a matching design to the oval surrounds and has the makes Mark MW finished with round down turned quillons. The blade is double edged with central raised fuller and is complete with black leather scabbard with silver mounts, rare early Irish naval dirkDimensions:
