ITEM DESCRIPTION

Item Description

Up for your consideration is a fabulous pair of antique French Louis XV candelabra, c. 1880. They are made of solid bronze that has been brilliantly gilded in gold plate. They are unmarked, but of the finest quality. Each piece hold 5 candles, and weighs about 20 lbs.They are in superb condition, sit completely parallel to themselves, and the original mercury gilding is especially bright. There is light, age typical surface wear, commensurate with age and use.

Each piece measures 16" tall and 21" wide. Each candle opening has a cap that fits inside the holder (see the last photo where I removed one cap).
