More > Bound, in 2 volumes (single-sided) of 8" x 10.5", an early copy of the entire mission voice transcript, as prepared by the Data Logistics Office of the Manned Spacecraft Center. The introduction states: "This is the transcription of the Technical Air-To-Ground Voice Transcription (GOSS NET 1) from the Apollo 11 mission." Then it identifies all the abbreviations for the various voices heard in the transcript. We note in photo some words familiar to us all: "That's One Small Step For Man, One Giant Leap For Mankind" (CDR). A desirable document overall very good.

One dash (-)is used to indicate a speaker's pause or a self-interruption and subsequent completion of a thought. Two dashes (- -) are used to indicate an interruption by another speaker or a point at which a recording was terminated abruptly.

All items have been boxed for many years. JTR worked with NASA Headquarters and Contractor teams at Bellcom, Washington DC; Mission Control, Houston Texas; George C. Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC), Huntsville AL; Goddard, Greenbelt MD; RCA, Cape Kennedy. He worked on the communications of ALL the Apollo Missions, including on the design of the Lunar Excursion Module (LEM) Communications Panel, the Lunar Communications Relay Unit (LCRU), VHF Ranging Equipment, and the Unified S-band (USB) system which is the tracking and communication system developed for the Apollo program by NASA and the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL).
