"the Base Set Charizard is an essential inclusion in Creatures Inc.’s exclusive 25th Anniversary Corporate History deck. Issued in December 2021, this 30-card set was distributed to the various illustrators of the Pokémon TCG as well as to employees of Creatures Inc. to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the card game’s release in Japan. embossed with a gold foil pokémon 25th anniversary logo, each card was intended to represent a different year in the TCG’s history, with this Charizard fittingly representing 1996. Instead of a traditional card back, these promos featured trivia and other fun facts about the company’s history, with this Charizard back claiming that the Pokémon TCG was actually being developed before the original Pokémon games were released. Though it is difficult to determine exactly how many of these sets were distributed, conservative estimates place the print run at 250-400 copies each, with an even smaller number being offered for sale"
