GLASS PERFUME AND OILS VIALS, GLASS JUGS AND BOTTLES OR BROKEN PIECES OF THESE OBJECTS ARE BEING EXCAVATED IN JERUSALEM, BETHLEHEM, CAESAREA, NAZARETH, MASADA AND OTHER SITES OF ANCIENT ROMAN OCCUPATION.OBJECTS THAT ARE EXCAVATED INTACT, ARE TRANSFERRED TO THE ISRAEL MUSEUM, AND VERY HIGHLY VALUED ANCIENT ISRAEL, DUE TO ITS LARGE STRETCHES OF SANDY DUNES AND BEACHES, WAS ONE OF THE LARGEST GLASS PRODUCERS OF THE ROMAN EMPIRE.
