Last-Minute Halloween Kids’ Crafts
Are you looking for a last-minute Halloween craft? If your kiddos are ready to create, but you’re short on the spooky stuff, check out these easy art activities.
Thumb Print Pumpkins
Pour small pools of orange paint onto a paper plate. Dip your child’s thumb into the paint and have them press it onto a piece of white paper. Repeat as many times as they want. When the paint dries, add stems with a green marker and jack o’lantern faces with a black one.
Did you run out of time to carve your pumpkin? Paint it with clear-drying school glue and sprinkle glitter on top. Let it dry and use the sparkly craft as a holiday party table centerpiece!
Decorate your house with easy-to-make paper bats. Fold a piece of black card stock paper in half, Draw a bat half, starting at the center fold — use white chalk or a white crayon. Cut the bat out, use a hole punch to create a hole at the top center and thread a piece of orange yarn through it. Hang the bat from tree branches or anywhere else. Repeat to make as many as you want.
This hand puppet craft couldn’t be easier. Glue two black construction paper circles to the flap of a white paper bag. Now your kiddo has a friendly ghost to star in their Halloween play.
