St Patrick’s Day Shamrock Crafts for Kids
Decorating for St. Patrick’s Day doesn’t have to mean going out and buying ready-made shamrock-themed items. Instead, your child can craft plenty of holiday décor — with your help! Start with shamrocks. Cut green craft felt into curved rectangles and hearts. Your child needs one rectangle and three hearts for each shamrock. Glue the shamrocks together at the points and add the rectangle to the bottom as a stem.
Now your child is ready to make these awesomely artsy ideas!
Punch holes in the side of the felt shamrocks. Thread green and white ribbon through the holes, stringing them together to make a garland.
Cut the side of a reused cardboard box into a circle. Make a smaller circle inside, cutting out the center to make a donut shape. Paint the cardboard green. Glue the felt shamrocks to the dried paint and hang the wreath as St. Patrick’s Day party décor.
Shamrock Place Cards
Add extra décor to a party table with these themed place cards. Cut 8×10-inch white card stock paper in half. Fold each half into a tent to make the place card. Glue a felt shamrock to the front and write the party guest’s name above or below it with a green glitter pen.
