I am pleased to offer from my private collection this astonishing antique Imperial Russian award gilt silver Verge Fusee Easter Egg desk pedestal clock c1821,specially made for the Royal Court of Tsar Nicholas I of Russia.

The Easter egg is mounted on enamelled highly ornamented pedestal.

The egg depicting a hand engraved personal monogram of Tsar Nicholas I and two Russian letters XB for "Christ is Risen" (Christos Voskresse).
The egg is hallmarked with the 84 Imperial Russian silver standart hallmark,with the Moscow city St.George hallmark and with the year 1821.

Fine enamel dial depicting a portrait of Tsar Nicholas I.
All the parts original.Nothing has been ever changed or replaced or repaired in this clock!A real museum piece.
Fire gilt full plate verge fusee movement with a hand engraved and pierced balance cock.
Perfect working order (do not expect a quartz accuracy from 220 years old movement). A matching key included.
