I am pleased to offer from my private collection this extremely rare and highly collectible antique Imperial era Faberge hand carved Agate hardstone &14k gold Easter Egg pendant in original egg shaped birchwood presentation box c1896.
The egg has been awarded as a commemorate gift for the coronation of Tsar NIcholas II and Empress Alexandra Feodorovna.
The egg depicting the personal monogram cypher of Empress Alexandra Feodorovna beneath the Romanov's Crown.(made of solid gold)
The egg is hallmarked with 56 Imperial hallmark for 14k gold and and with Faberge's hallmark.
On the top of the egg stand the Horse Guard Helmet.

The egg is 30mm high without the jumping ring.
7.4g heavy.
