A UNIQUE KARL FABERGE ITEM, A REAL ONE OF A KIND

An imperial treasure revealed today after being hidden hundred of years ina private collection.

This Karl Faberge clock is presented to you as found and still worth investment of a lifetime.

The Imperial eagle on the lid represents the Russian Coat of Arms. All the meticulous details are still very clear even after hundred of years.
The Coat of arms details :
1- The Russian crown
2-The double crowned head of the eagle
3- St. George’s Icon in the center
4- The collar’s ornament around St. George’s Icon
5- The four different Flags on each wing
6- The Crossed globe in one hand
7- The Cane in the other hand

As you can see in the pictures, the Cyrillic stamp is still very clear. The Russian silver purity was measured in zolotniks. The most frequently found proportions for silver are 84 (the same as our object) and 88 zolotniks. The national provenance mark was a woman wearing a kokoshnik (this one too is exactly the same of our stamp).

The Piano’s case of the clock:

The case is a miniature piano in Louis XV style, made of fully marked silver, Demantoid and ivory.

Demantoid (the green stone) was a popular gemstone during the Belle Epoqueperiod 1890-1915, especially in art nouveau jewelry. The russian Czars particularly favored this gem. Karl Faberge was the famous jeweler at the time in the green stones field.

The green stone is one of the most expensive gems in the world. the best quality green stone can sell for as much as $ 3 million per carat.

4- Descriptionof the Movement of our Karl Faberge clock

The lid of the piano opens to reveal a beautiful hand carved billodes movement (the later Zenith watch) fully signed by K. Makoulian in one side and Constantinople K. Makoulian (inside a ribbon) on the other side. A third Turkish stamp is located just between the balance stuff bridge and the movement’s back plate.
