Hello!

This is brand new, sealed, and has never been taken out of the styrofoam. The box has some wear, so if you’re a person that collects the boxes as well…please take note of the pics that show the wear.

As for the figure inside, it is brand new, and has never been taken out, displayed, left alone overnight in the moonlight, etc.

This limited edition figure is based on Buffy Summers, seen with a stake, as in Buffy Season 1 promotional material.

The figure itself is 17 1/2 inches tall. The base is roughly 10 inches wide by 4 inches tall.

This PROTOTYPE/ ARTIST PROOF is extremely rare. It is MUCH more rare than the actual production model, which was limited to just /550, itself. THIS item for sale is an actual Sample/Artist Proof made for in-house purposes only, and that was never intended for public sale. The /550 model that was later sold to the public….is based on THIS item you’re looking at.

I called Sideshow Collectibles on 5/10/23 to see if they had a record of how many prototypes were made. Unfortunately, they said they didn’t keep records for figures going back that far, so they couldn’t give me an exact number of prototypes made, but said: “I can tell you though that very, very few were made.” This particular sample was intended for somebody at 20th Century Fox for approval, before the actual /550 limited edition models went into production to be later sold to the general public.
