DAGUERREOTYPE PHOTO FATHER & DAUGHTER

Original Daguerreotype photo of a father & daughter. The wood frame inscribed verso in French (and later English).

Dimensions: visible image measures approx 4½ inches long x 3½ inches wide. Therefore probably a half plate. The wooden frame measures 8 x 7 inches.

Faded when viewed front on but overall very good condition. My final photo shows the image slightly enhanced with extra contrast.
