This is a magnificent 19 century museum piece marble bronze statue done by world famous French artist Albert Ernest Carrier-Belleuse 1824-1887. This statue has been awarded for the first place at several exhibitions in Paris, and Chicago as well. Carrier Belleuse made only 3 copies of this wonderful statue. It is fully signed, hallmarked, and stamped, showing the awards it was given. This statue measures 32" tall, 14" front, and 17"wide. The marble base measures 12" tall.
